G8 Education has welcomed the abolition of the childcare activity test that will guarantee families a minimum of three days of subsidised childcare regardless of how much they work or study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
G8 Education Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Pejman Okhovat said G8 Education welcomed the legislation, saying that will provide a greater level of access to high-quality early childhood education and care to Australian families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe have strongly advocated for all families across Australia to have access to three days a week CCS, regardless of parent\u2019s employment status,\u201d said Mr Okhovat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs a leading provider of quality early learning education and care with more than 40,000 children in our centres every day, the enhanced level of support for low-income families will increase inclusive support for all children, removing barriers to Early Childhood Education and Care access and support better outcomes for children and families.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s widely recognised that high-quality early childhood education plays a pivotal role in ensuring positive outcomes later in life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
