What is Play-Based Learning?

Children learn through play and therefore this approach engages children in both spontaneous and intentional play experiences to make meaning of their world, develop skills and knowledge and their dispositions for learning.. The Early Years Learning Framework defines it as “a context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they engage actively with people, objects and representations”.
