Social Media Community Guidelines

At G8 Education we are committed to providing safe environments for our children, families, teams and communities to learn, collaborate and connect. This extends to our online platforms, so we ask that you help us make everyone in our community feel welcome and heard.  

Keep privacy top of mind: Safety is our highest priority, so make sure you are respecting your own, and others’, privacy when posting and don’t include personal information such as full names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. For direct enquiries, send us a personal message or contact us via our website. 

Be respectful: We want to create an inclusive online community in which people can safely share their diverse experiences, knowledge and opinions in constructive ways. Please don’t post comments that harass, threaten or are abusive toward others. We will remove material that amounts to a personal attack, or which is racist, obscene, derogatory, discriminatory, incites violence or hatred, or includes profanities.   

Share, don’t sell: Social media provides a great opportunity to share ideas, but please keep your comments relevant to our community. Don’t post off-topic or promote personal, commercial interests or party-political statements.  

True and appropriate: Keep it authentic. Don’t misrepresent yourself or others or spread misinformation. Avoid making defamatory, libellous, false or misleading comments. Be careful not to post material that breaches the intellectual property rights of others.  

If your comments don’t comply with these community guidelines you may be excluded from our social media community and we may remove your comments without notice.
