G8 Education has developed a Bushfire Relief Package to support our families, our people and the volunteer firefighters protecting the communities within which we operate.

The announcement follows the evacuation and temporary closures of 25 of our early childhood education centres due to the hundreds of bushfires that have devastated our country.

The range of measures include:

  • Working directly with team members and families who have been severely impacted by the fires to determine appropriate levels of support on a case by case basis.
  • Free access to our centres for the children of those registered volunteer firefighters or Australian Defence Force Reserve members fighting fires and in need of assistance.
  • Bolstering the fundraising efforts of our 476 early education and care centres by matching donations dollar for dollar. Proceeds raised will be pledged to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal on behalf of our families and team members.

Our Bushfire Disaster Relief Package is designed to lessen some of the burdens that our families are facing while supporting the efforts of the brave volunteer firefighters.

Families of G8 Education and volunteer firefighters are encouraged to contact us on 1800 844 977 to find out what levels of support is available.
